Byregot's Respite Venue Rules
Be respectful to our staff and other patrons. This is an adventurer bar and there will be harsh language at times, but we do not tolerate harassment or hate speech IC or OOC.
You are not required to stow your weapon, pets, or accessories, though during times of high traffic we may ask that non-IC pets be stowed for the sake of visibility
No non-wedding band left rings[Rule repealed after the soup incident]Do not ERP inside the venue. While we are 18+ due to dealing with alcohol and mature themes, we are not an ERP venue. Take it to private party, and try not to make it obvious.
Do not impersonate staff. We will know, you will be kicked out.
Braella Snowveil
Kibty. Rich. Feral. The bottomless coffer that keeps this place funded. She WILL curl up and snuggle you. Pat her head, and she'll give you candy. Often seen with her Familiar, Christofern, a tiny Echevore she made as a child. Christofern WILL sniff you. It is inevitable.
Sekt Maara
A quiet woman from Gyr Abania, Sekt found her way to the Respite by chance one night and practically fell in love with the place, making it her new home. Her inherited love of cooking has pushed her into mixology and beyond as some of the antics the Respite gets up to - including eating a lightning crystal. - Fun and games aside; there's few in the Respite you can trust more than Sekt. Be it food, drink, or fire, she'll serve it to you and ensure you are 120% satisfied with her work.
Krane Carnelian
Quick to shower others with praise and even quicker to deflect any returned to him; recovering workaholic; fond of music, puppies, and only the trashiest of romance novels. Krane came to the Respite on a bright eyed journey away from his eastern home, towards discovering a legacy long kept from him, and the challenge of not repeating many lifetimes' worth of mistakes. He's always happy to hear about your day, especially if it would make for a good song.
Mirabilis Calanthe
Mira is a withheld viera to strangers but managing her life better by the day, a connoisseur with coffee and a penchant for apples! Don't mind the stutter or sudden haughty attitude, she usually warms up when given some care.
C'naanza Amih
A traveler from the Couerl tribe near Paglth'an, the staff of the Respite have somehow corralled this Miqo'te into helping out from time to time in between bouts of zoomies. Never found with shoes, sometimes asleep on top of things, but always looking for something fun to do and people to talk to- even if that means dragging total strangers into conversations to try and help them feel welcome. She's not the smartest, but by the Twelve, she's trying her best. Really hard. It almost makes one wonder if there's something she's trying not to think about...
Ruuj Vyrre
Originally from the Golmore Jungle, Ruuj is still learning her way around Eorzean culture. While capable of following instructions for drinks while she's still training, she's more security than bar tender. She does pretty well with the 'stereotypical bartender vibe', however. Someone quiet, listening to your problems, and letting you get that thing you need off your chest.
Amalia Yusiri
One of the newest arrivals to the Respite, Ammy typically goes out of her way to bring smiles to others, trying to be a 'bright spot in an otherwise dark world'. While very smart, she's easily distracted by just about anything she can compliment about someone. She's been described as unflappable, happy-go-lucky, and ineffable.
Kalizoth Azujax
A boisterous, charming scoundrel. Kali's words may be loud and salty, but her heart is large and sweet. She loves to chat with people and learn what they love, but has many stories to share if you ask. Was brought on as staff after repeatedly asking if she could help out around the place. Gives amazing hugs.
Meals

Beef Stew
Carrots, potatos, and herbs from our own gardens, beef steak from grass fed cattle. Started early in the day at low heat so the flavours all soak into each other. Served with choice of side salad or fresh baked bread

Steak Burger
Steak patty, spinach, kale, arugula, caramelised onions, butter, and peppercorns. Put between two slices of house-made brioche bun. Served with choice of side salad or potato wedges

Chocobb Salad
Fresh greens, slice tomatoes, boiled chicken eggs, red onions, and avocado slices. Bleu cheese optional. Comes with optional soup of the day or fresh baked bread

Chef's Salad
Fresh greens, chopped onions, sliced tomatoes, radishes, some shredded meats, and boiled eggs. Comes with optional soup of the day or fresh baked bread

Tea(any)time Sandwiches
A selection of three neatly crafted finger sandwiches using smoked salmon, dill cream cheese, cucumbers, garlic and herb butter, watercress and freshly made egg salad. Crusts trimmed away so you can get right to the good stuff!

Skies Over Del Sol
Soak up the rays of the Limsan coast with this layered cocktail of equal parts coconut rum, pineapple lemonade, and vodka, garnished with pineapple and cherries.

Carmal Apples
A candy apple as a drink! Cold brewed coffee mixed with Apple Whiskey and Caramel Creamer, then topped off with ground cinnamon and a caramelized apple slice. The perfect mix of sweet and bitter.

Ginger Apples
Fall in a cup, our house made apple cider is blended with ice, ginger soda, a splash of kombucha, cinnamon and clove for a mocktail as chilly as the autumn air but still cozier than the fluffiest sweater.

Gridanian Grasshopper
A fantastically smooth and creamy blend of Crème de Menthe, Crème de Cocoa, and Vanilla vodka, this drink puts a spin on the classic cocktail by adding in vanilla ice cream as well, making it closer to a spiked milkshake than a conventional cocktail. Garnished with whipped cream, chocolate flakes, and a mint leaf.

Piña Colada
Most people think this drink originated in the southern seas, but surprisingly it was actually created in Ul'dah as an attempt to mimic the tastes of the tropical region. Served as a slushie to help ward off the desert sun, this drink made with white rum, coconut cream, and pineapple juice serves better to cool one down after a long day next to the forge.
We also carry most any basic alcohol, and off-menu cocktails can be made, though a quick explanation of the cocktail may be requested by your bartender

Spiced Cider
A starlight drink, available year round. This cider can be served warm or cold, pressed in-house to ensure freshness and make sure we don't filter out too much of the flavour. Cinnamon and star anise round out the flavour of this drink

Corvosoda
Named after the isle of Corvos, this drink was actually created by a New World trader specialising in fruits preserved in syrups. These drinks are made with these syrups after they've been infused with the flavour of the fruits, as well as some ice and a bit of cream. Garnished with a bit of whipped cream and a cherry (stem optional) this drink is sure to go down smoothly
We also carry most any basic fruit juice, as well as both Dzo and Aldgoat milk, available in chocolate, rolanberry, and vanilla flavours.
